I am very excited about expanding my practice to help patients with treatment resistant depression using this medication. Unfortunately, my practice cannot support taking any new patients for this treatment currently but anticipate I will be able to in the coming months.
Medical Marijuana
Although I am able to recommend this treatment, I am not taking any patients for the purposes of evaluating the appropriateness of recommending medicinal marijuana. In New York State, the only psychiatric indication for Medical Marijuana is PTSD. I have found that the current scientific evidence for this treatment for PTSD is too limited to justify its use in most cases.
